The Eyles Group have acted as the Principal Contractor in this development of 18nr units at the former Builders Merchant site in King Street, Ramsgate completed for Gard Homes. The overall design of the scheme was both complex and challenging, involving a split-level development requiring reinforced retaining walls to maintain stability of the upper areas.

The scheme is a 1^st class example of urban regeneration transforming an empty, derelict industrial unit and storage areas into a highly sought after residential development close to both the town centre and the sea. This, along with ongoing redevelopment of the Ramsgate town centre is transforming the centre of Ramsgate forever.

The dwellings have been cleverly designed utilizing a wide variety of finishes ranging from timber and steel windows, plastic covered timber cladding and fair faced block and brickwork to provide a striking and unique living environment.

The varying companies within the Eyles Group have all played an important part in this development, with the brickwork package being completed by Eyles Brickwork Limited; Carpentry works by skilled labour employed by Eyles Construction and all the scaffolding requirements having been completed by IOT Scaffolding Limited.
